HabitShift Coaching
Frequently asked questions: 1. What is HabitShift Coaching? Why do I need it? HabitShift Coaches are highly trained and dedicated to your success. In the workshop the ratio of coaches to participants is 1 to 7. You will work with the same coach throughout the workshop. Because your Coach gets to know you so well over the four days, s/he personalizes the material specifically for you and provide you with feedback and insight that nurtures your success. An independent research study commissioned by a Fortune 500 company found that one executive coaching program produced a 788% return on investment. Another study showed over an 80% improvement in learning retention if classroom work is followed by coaching. 2. Do I get some follow-up coaching after the workshop? Included in the registration fee are three half-hour individual sessions with your HabitShift Coach. The timing is determined between you and your coach. Your coach will help catapult you to long-term success by leveraging the insights, skills, resources, and determination you developed during the workshop. Think of coaching as a support structure or a paved path for manifesting your deepest intentions. 3. Who are the HabitShift Coaches? We are a community of professional, caring, certified personal/life coaches who together bring a great diversity of life experiences. In addition to being certified HabitShift Coaches, we each have the following credentials:
4. Do the HabitShift Coaches have experience with changing behavior patterns? We believe in the power of experience and empathy. In order to be selected, a HabitShift Coach must have personally changed an undesired habit or unhealthy life pattern. They have "walked the talk." They understand the confusion, fear, and doubt inherent in making life changes. They also know what the other side looks and feels like - the freedom and personal power that mastering a habit shift produces. 5. Can you tell me more about coaching in general? Grounded in extensive training in how people make sustainable changes, coaches actively listen, observe, offer insights and paths of development, and compassionately hold clients accountable for setting out upon those paths. Coaches customize their approach to individual client needs. They seek to elicit solutions and strategies from the client; they believe the client is naturally creative and resourceful. The coach's job is to provide support to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that the client already has. Coaching is designed to provide clients with a greater capacity to produce results and a greater confidence in their ability to do so. What's great about coaching is you work one-on-one with someone trained to help you achieve the goals you have set for yourself. Your coach provides - nonjudgmentally - the accountability you may have been seeking, while helping you create a clear vision of your most important outcomes, so you can stay motivated and on track. 6. What if I want more than three follow-up sessions after the workshop? At your option, you can engage your HabitShift Coach for additional sessions (beyond the three included in your registration). You will find this well worth your time and investment. You will see tremendous growth in your effectiveness and fulfillment.
