HabitShift is a powerful combination of experiences, practices, insights, and tools rooted in the study of human development. Research proves that people who successfully change habits follow a specific set of stages or steps, each of which is best navigated with a combination of specific strategies. At the heart of the HabitShift program is a model proven effective in hundreds of studies and decades of research by Dr. James Prochaska, Dr. John Norcross, and Dr. Carlo DiClemente. For 20 years, they carefully studied the activities of thousands of successful "self-changers." These people weren't purposefully following a set strategy, but the researchers found some common patterns - certain activities in a particular order. Their groundbreaking work uncovered the model people must go through to make successful, durable change.
